Core responsibilities :
Regional Sales Strategy:
- Deliver agreed P&L and other KPI targets for the region
- Analyze data opportunities for business, channel and partnerships development;
- Develop and support the business strategy across the region;
- Develop and ensure the implementation of sales/market route plans for the region
- Conduct and report market research & competitors/ customers analysis
- Promote the company and products (develop and implement marketing plans)
- Customer understanding
- Cultivate effective and collaborative working relationships with the differents functions within the organization
Regional Sales Force Management:
- Lead the sales team responsible for sales and after-sales in the field,
- Contribute to the quarterly set up of sales targets/revenue / objectives ( sales forecast)
- Track and report on the performance KPIs across the different levels of the sales team within the region
- Monitor performance of their team and ensure high level of productivity in the region ( top performers identification, training & development, coaching )
- Develop the sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.
- Ensure the different levels within the sales structure forge a good relationship with our customers
- Ensure full compliance with the company’s policies on sales, inventory management, payments
Regional Administration:
- Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with local communities, local authorities;
- Tracking and reporting of sales results (track, collate and interpret sales figures)
- Salesforce selection and recruitment (staff planning and roster)
- Control expenses and monitor budgets
- Maintain inventory control across the region
- Represent the company at industry events, meetings and conventions
Profile :
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Business Management, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience working as a Regional Sales Manager or a similar role in the Sales Department.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze the Key Performance Indicators.
- Strong in-depth customer understanding
- Ability to motivate and maintain a positive working environment.
